Amar Ujala Foundation has been doing workshops for adolescent school going girls where Judo/Karate experts interact and teach the students the art of self defense. More than 15,000 such girls learnt Judo/Karate skills. AUF has conducted more than 60 workshops since January 2013. Collaborating Organizations – Manav Academy of Martial Arts, Uttar Pradesh Judo Federation, Uttar Pradesh Police, Haryana Police. A major thrust took place in Varanasi where more than 40 schools participated in these workshops during April 9-June 30 and 5000 girls got trained in self defence.
