Amar Ujala Foundation, in collaboration with Central U.P. Gas Limited (CUGL), organized a free health check-up camp at Wah India Jainpur in Kanpur, providing essential medical services to the local community. The camp saw a significant turnout, with a total of 211 people receiving medical examinations and counseling.

Held within the factory premises, the camp featured a team of doctors from Ujala Cygnus Kulwanti Hospital who offered their expertise to the attendees. Patients were given thorough check-ups and received counseling for various diseases. Services provided at the camp included pathology tests, eye examinations by ASG Eye Hospital, and general health check-ups.

In addition to medical examinations, attendees were given crucial advice on how to protect themselves from the intense summer heat. The medical team emphasized the importance of avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun, drinking plenty of cold water, resting in shaded areas, and wearing loose clothing. They also recommended consuming seasonal fruits to stay hydrated and healthy.

"While working in the heat, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Do not stay in the sun for too long. If you come from the sun, immediately drink cold water and take rest in the shade. Wear loose clothing and consume seasonal fruits," advised the doctors during the camp. They provided additional tips on recognizing and treating heat-related illnesses, highlighting the importance of staying hydrated and consuming light, fresh foods.

This health camp is part of Amar Ujala Foundation's ongoing efforts to raise health awareness and provide medical assistance to those in need. By collaborating with CUGL, the foundation aims to reach more people and ensure they receive the necessary healthcare and guidance to maintain their well-being, especially during the harsh summer months.

The initiative underscores the foundation's commitment to community health and its dedication to addressing the medical needs of the underserved populations in Kanpur and surrounding areas.
